This project is a composite that hybridizes formal features and characteristics from the palazzo typology across multiple Italian cities to generate a cultural center using Corbusier’s three reminders i.e. plan, surface, and volume. The building acts as a threshold between the piazza and the riverside. By appropriating elements and formal features, the building creates a new dialogue with its context.
