An inverse problem is the framework that is used to convert observed measurements into information about a physical object or system that we are interested in. The statement of the problem does not thoroughly constrain the solution space. 1. Disgregation is the magnitude of the degree in which the molecules of a body are separated from each other. From the state of thermodynamic equilibrium, the law deduced the principle of the increase of entropy and explains the phenomenon of irreversibility in nature. 2. In information theory, entropy is a measure of the uncertainty associated with a random variable. The Shannon entropy is a measure of the average information content one is missing when one does not know the value of the random variable. Entropy is a measure of disorder, or more precisely unpredictability. 3. An individual is a person or a specific object. Individuality (or selfhood) is the state or quality of being an individual; a person separate from other persons and possessing his or her own needs or goals. Being self-expressive, independent. 4. Ecology is the scientific study of the relations that living organisms have with respect to each other and their natural environment. Variables of interest to ecologists include the composition, distribution, amount (biomass), number, and changing states of organisms within and among ecosystems. Ecosystems are hierarchical systems that are organized into a graded series of regularly interacting and semi-independent parts (e.g., species) that aggregate into higher orders of complex integrated wholes (e.g., communities).
