Dog hostel

The plan corresponds with a deformed circle. There is another deformed circle on top of it that slides away parallel to the ground to block the summer sun and allow northern light to enter a back yard. The building houses 8 kennels for a maximum of two dogs per unit. The kennels have an interior compartment connected to an exterior one by a cat door. At the same time the exterior compartment is connected to a general open space (back yard) where the dogs can run freely with other selected dogs. The front volume is dedicated to the distribution of food, health care unit and the main entry hall for all possible clients. The two east kennels house a kitchen for fast cooking and cleaning and a storage room for utilities, food, and other animal equipment.
