Capistrano Unified School District

San Juan Hills High School is the newest high school in the Capistrano Unified School District. The project included the design of 96 classrooms for grades 9-12, a performing arts theater and black box, stadium, and gymnasiums which all totals approximately 210,000 square feet of building space. Project phasing was used to support the enrollment plan used by the district, which included having the school open in 2007 with only a freshman class. Currently, the San Juan Hills High School Pool is under construction and once built, the campus will be complete in terms of the initial master planned facilities.
