JKA, working as a sub-consultant to transportation planning firm KOA Corporation, Inc., leads the urban design and architecture component of an alternatives study that is establishing the engineering and design criteria for a new Metro rapid transit line. JKA is contributing strategic planning services related to transit oriented development and specific designs for light rail, bus rapid transit, and curbside rapid bus options. The JKA scope of work is led by Principal John Kaliski, is in the conceptual engineering phase, and is approximately 33% complete.
