The project takes an abandoned and partially demolished train station in the center of Shoreditch, that has been closed to the public for over 45 years. The existing structure is preserved, opened to the neighborhood and activated as a gateway to the public as part of the new proposed Art Center. The new building extends from the existing walls of the old station, connecting the streets and people to an elevated public park through its various Art programs.
