Bankruptcy and architecture prove themselves to be a symmetrical phenomenon, organized by an imposed chasm that lies between them. The aim of this workshop was to develop our ideas about this phenomenon by observing the building of OTE in Xania which is intense example of bankruptcy.

Taking into consideration the constant growth of technology and its needs for less space, our proposal focuses on taking advantage of the left empty space in a dynamic way so that it will not be bankrupted again.  We are proposing a mechanism, or an algorithm, that scans the factors that influence the change in the configuration of space and its contents (activities) in such buildings as OTE. Those factors include the city, technology and time (in both long term and short term). When the one activity tends to expand, an other (that is related to the first) must receive the change, adapt and become smaller.
