A temporary outdoor art gallery in Austin, TX was the focus of this design competition.  It was an interesting challenge, with design parameters not defined but left for the competitor to decide.  My design intention was to create a neutral architectural canvas for the art to be displayed on both its interior and exterior.  It was also my idea to make the structure itself modular, so that if desired it could be connected, and rearranged to create different spaces as per an artist’s needs. The panels of the gallery itself were also able to be manipulated to form shelving and supports for all kinds of art from pottery to sculpture.
