Rio Nuevo is an historical district west of downtown Tucson that is developing into a new level of urban density. This site is located between interstate 10 and the intersection of W. Congress & Avenida del Convento. This mixed-use complex is fully integrated with commercial-retail at the street level and residential units above. The impact of this design is that this will bring more diversity and social activity to downtown Tucson and it will transform the community into a sustainable and transit-oriented environment.
