Security vestibule upgrades were provided for this Lake Oswego School District facility in addition to other interior improvements along with a complete replacement and re-design of the existing school's failing exterior envelope. A new makerspace and multiple remodeled classrooms and program areas were included. The entire building envelope was replaced—doors, windows, roof, and exterior cladding. The design team researched passive mechanical systems and building exterior lighting upgrades. A great opportunity for overall enhancement was the updates to interior finishes, providing additional benefits arising from practical safety and security improvements.
