The House In The Forest architecture competition had tasked participants with creating designs for a house in the forest that would create awareness to preserve our forests.

I wanted to create a tree house placed high in the forest canopy while being 
fragmented in an attempt to make the forest the focus point. Vertical “slices” made 
from pre-fabricated timber mimic the verticality of the tree trunks that surround it while furniture and divisions grow from these slices further emphasizing the tree motif.
