About

I am a twenty-something millennial that recently took a break to travel and experience the world a little bit more.  I have passion for large-scale projects related to entertainment and sustainability.  These range from recreational parks, theme parks, music festivals, campuses and so on.  I need to take a break from a life filled with screens just about everyday to enjoy nature, a good book or cooking.  I also love to go see live music, hiking, create art (graphic or traditionally) and don't mind happy hour either.

Education

California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, San Luis Obispo, CA, US, Bachelors, Landscape Architecture

The Landscape Architecture program at Cal Poly was fast-paced and stressful, requiring long hours and detailed focus. The program covered all the bases of landscape architecture ranging from construction, graphic design, site grading, interdisciplinary work, irrigation and sustainable design. Students were encouraged to use abstract thinking, personal interests and cutting-edge technology to further their college careers and beyond.

Apart from the required coursework I took on a minor in Sustainable Environments so that whatever I do, I have the future of our planet in mind. Taking both of these into account I also tailored several of my classes and designs toward entertainment-based design. This included wineries, resorts, stadiums, parks, theme parks and even a Festival and Event Management course.

An intensive and rigorous program prepared my graduating class by throwing an insurmountable mass of work at students to prepare us to solve problems under high stress, go with the flow and never cease to pursue our passions.
