These two buildings were built in rue Rebière in Paris' XVII° arrondissement.
The first, with black concrete and steel covered facades, houses apartments which face out on three fronts. The structure and cladding of the second are wooden, and it houses duplex apartments which are laid out like interlocking houses. Each one of the apartments in these two buildings is extended by outside spaces which shift along from one floor to the next, meaning everyone has the impression they are living “on the top floor on every floor”.
