Providing housing for the large populations of underdeveloped nations has always been an architectural exercise. To be economical on costs the materials are simple, durable, pre-fab, and repetitive. There are 5 different unit types accommodating varying family sizes. To foster contact and maintain independence, walking is the main mode of transportation. Shading is combined with PV panels which produces energy for the community. This housing provides security, safety, and ownership of personal space.
