The Polymat-(Refuse recycled into a building material)

The polyethylene bag is easily attainable, inexpensive, UV and water resistant.  It takes 1000 years to photodegrade where it fragments into microscopic granules. These bags would be collected from landfills, cleaned, trimmed, fused together end to end creating long sheets, and cut into thinstrips for weaving. The product (The Polymat) is UV resistant, water resistant, porous, and has two finishes which are pliable or rigid.  The pliable application, due to the UV resistance and translucency is a shading device. The rigid application, due to UV and water resistance is a panel for a cladding system.
