Concept
having the brand of port wine as a constant presence and exploring the idea of traditional    storage form as the wine cellar, it was understood, through an image always modern, pursuit the underground and intimate environment where bottles lie for years. Thus, we created small niches for visitors, where they could taste wines privately. The black pavilion, reflecting this same approach as well as the predominant color of port wine, protect the niche built in wood and involve the visitor, who has only a diffuse light background due to a wall completely filled with bottles, resting, waiting to be drink. Because there are two exhibition spaces it was understood make the connection between them, through a staircase and walkway that access to a terrace, allowing enjoy the view and steeped in the idea of rising to the surface. This whole relationship between the parties established a consistency that improves the program as well as the main functions applied to this pavilion.
