Greetings,

My name is Dorian Janowicz. I am a second year graduate student at the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign. I am currently looking for a full time position as an Intern Architect starting May 2013 after graduation.

I have a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign, and I have strong passion, and motivation for the architectural profession. I am very passionate about bringing art and efficiency into architecture. I am fervent about introducing sustainable methods of design and construction (having exposure to both in my studies) into my projects. My experiences and interests are vast, having worked on various project scales, from master plans to furniture pieces. I have also always greatly valued teamwork and constantly seek to organize it  in order to best utilize each individual’s skills and experiences. As a result, I believe teams create the most successful projects.

I am skilled in hand drawing and painting in acryllic and watercolor, and very proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUP, Revit, 3ds Max (with Vray), and have exposure to Rhino. I use my hand drawing skills extensively to quickly come up with solutions, refining them with digital media in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
