About

Being originally form San Francisco, I relocated back to the states with my family after living in London for over 6 years. Currently I hold a Project Captain position at an architecture practice in Boulder, and was also holding the same title during my time in San Francisco and London. The Boulder practice is a design firm specializing in unique design style in both architecture and interior finishes. My prior experience in San Francisco was to design and develop a wide range of residential projects as well as being one of only a few firms specializing in bridge design worldwide. My previous London practices undertook a mass variety of projects ranging in value from £500k to £100m+, as well as providing a multi-disciplinary design consultancy to residential development and regeneration sectors all over the world.

Exclusively, I have 9 years post graduate project managing experience both in the UK and the US, as well as junior architectural experience during the course of my university duration. My project experience in the UK for over 6 years included creating lasting sustainable housing schemes and placemaking, and developing new residential and mixed-use social housing accommodation design schemes. My extensive project involvement comprises schematic design phases all the way through to construction documentation and administration. In addition, I have further experience with schematic design, feasibility studies, planning applications, urban design, construction
documents and graphic design, all in the realm of education renovation, leisure, commercial, interiors, apart-hotels, care homes, and bespoke design projects. Also, I am currently undergoing my licensure exams to become an architect and be LEED certified.

My general preference is to practice sustainable design, recognizing the need for buildings that respect the environment and their use of energy and materials. Majority of my projects were required to be designed and constructed to meet a minimum rating Level of 3 for BREEAM: Code for Sustainable Homes (UK). In addition to this, I have designed a new residential housing scheme and new church hall with an aim to receive an ‘Excellent’ BREEAM Bespoke rating for sustainable design.

These project experiences have influenced a progression of my design capabilities, as well as being an efficient and organized team leader.
