Salvador Juarez was born in Los Angeles, California. He trained as an architect and studied at the Woodbury University School of Architecture,receiving his Bachelor of Architecture in 2008. With an eagerness and strong interest in quality design, he is dedicated to discovering elegant solutions, merging practicality with creativity. Salvador currently resides in New York City, continually advancing in his professional career. His unique style grew out of a passion for drawing and a fascination for the works of architects such as Thom Mayne, Wolf D. Prix, and various others.

-Responsible for the comprehensive coordination, direction and production effort for large-scale and complex projects and their necessary documents.
-Coordinate and work closely with the designers working on the project to make sure that their work is accurate and that all aspects of the design presentation are incorporated into the set of construction documents.
-Responsible for the complete set of construction documents and assisting the Senior Management in obtaining and carrying out the needs for a specific project.
-Organize and fully develop construction documents.
-Making sure that all aspects of the project meet all codes, specifications, quality control.
-Directing and coordinating the work of a production team.
-Filing and documentation of project documents
-Reviewing shop drawings for accuracy.
-Site survey of building conditions.
-Preparation of architectural contract drawings for purposes of, bidding, landlord review and building department filing.
-Review of background sets, as-builts. Landlord related documents, millwork and storefront shop drawings.
-Coordination with client and project consultants including mechanical and electrical engineering, lighting, acoustical, structural and furniture consultants.
-Preparation of administrative documents including survey reports, meeting minutes, scope of work description and punch lists.
-Communicate with vendors and sub-contractors to verify field conditions.
-Daily communication about workload with project architect staff to follow up on productivity.

Noteworthy retail clients are Michael Kors, Quicksilver, and Triumph. Projects locations are in New York, California, Arizona, Texas, Ontario (Canada), Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Florida, Maine, and Nevada.

As an independent designer, I have provided production drawing services, design and construction consultation, and prepared multiple design presentations for private clients, Design Board Reviews, and NYC Parks Department reviews. Significant projects include the Turtle Cove Golf Center, various Just Tacos locations in Hawaii, and various single-family and multi-family dwelling residential projects.

My responsibilities as a Senior Project Manager and Architectural Designer for the firm include, existing condition field measurements, site survey drawings, site survey reports, zoning and code analysis, managing and drafting construction documents for bid packet preparation and DOB filing preparation, drawing review and revisions, construction administration, material/ furniture/ fixture/ equipment selection, space planning, and generating 3D models and renderings for prototypical and custom design projects. Through this position, I developed a high level of verbal and written interaction with clients, landlords, DOB officials, general contractors, engineers, expeditors and vendors. Noteworthy clients include but are not limited to Starbucks Coffee Company, McDonald's Corporation, and Wendy’s Corporation, Potbelly Sandwich Works, Panera Bread, Organic Avenue, Just Salad, Au Bon Pain, Oren’s Daily Roast, private medical offices, and various private single-family residences.

Responsibilities included preparation and coordination of construction documents, site development, custom millwork detailing, and generating 3D models and renderings for client and community board presentations. Most notable projects included The Perch Rooftop Restaurant overlooking the historic Biltmore Hotel, as well as the vibrant Pershing Square, Shopping Mall developments, and private medical office

Architecture Plus Construction, New York, NY, US, Architectural Designer/ Draftsman

Responsibilities as a designer and drafter, working under the direction of the principal architect, included the planning and execution of various photographic exhibits for the International Center for Photography in association with the graphic design firm MGMT Design. Most notable projects included a collaboration with Chris McVoy, a Senior Project Architect for the renowned design firm Steven Holl Architects, for the design of his private high end custom single-family residence in the Fort Greene area of Brooklyn.
