About 

Salvador Juarez was born in Los Angeles, California. He trained as an architect and studied at the Woodbury University School of Architecture,receiving his Bachelor of Architecture in 2008. With an eagerness and strong interest in quality design, he is dedicated to discovering elegant solutions, merging practicality with creativity. Salvador currently resides in New York City, continually advancing in his professional career. His unique style grew out of a passion for drawing and a fascination for the works of architects such as Thom Mayne, Wolf D. Prix, and various others.

His background is focused on residential, retail, restaurants, and mixed use. Salvador has been involved in all phases of the projects including initial client contact and introduction, scheduling and performing surveys, preparing survey reports & packages, code analysis, tenant criteria review, schematic design, rendering, working client to resolve design and technical issue/ requirements, preliminary and final LL submittals, responding to LL comments, preparing bid packages, bid addendum's, submitting jobs for permit across various municipalities throughout the US & Canada, responding to DOB comments, permit amendments, construction sets, responding to RFI's, resolving construction issues, and performing punch lists. Working with several different types of projects at the same time, at various phases, has allowed him to establish a diverse and well-rounded background in completing a project from its conception all the way through completion.

As a project architect for Two One Two Design, I am responsible for the comprehensive coordination, direction and production effort for a wide range of large-scale complex projects and all of their necessary documents for the client, building departments, landlords, contractors, and vendors. During this process, I work closely with the client to make sure that each project is accurate and code compliant through extensive code research.
 I am responsible for the complete set of construction documents and assisting the Senior Management in obtaining and carrying out the needs for all projects, making sure that all aspects of the project meet all codes. Directing and coordinating the work of a production team is part of my responsibilities as well as filing and documentation of project documents
, reviewing shop drawings for accuracy, site survey of building conditions, preparation of construction documents for purposes of bidding, landlord review, building department filing and objections, review and preparation of background sets, as-builts, landlord required documents, millwork and storefront shop drawings, coordination with client and project consultants including mechanical, electrical, lighting, acoustical, structural and furniture consultants, preparation of administrative documents including survey reports, meeting minutes, scope of work description and punch lists, communicate with vendors and sub-contractors to verify field conditions, daily communication about workload with staff to coordinate productivity in the most efficient way possible based on priority.


Noteworthy retail clients are Michael Kors, Quicksilver, and Triumph. Projects locations are in New York, California, Arizona, Texas, Ontario (Canada), Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Florida, Maine, and Nevada.

My responsibilities as a Senior Project Manager and Architectural Designer for the firm include, existing condition field measurements, site survey drawings, site survey reports, zoning and code analysis, managing and drafting construction documents for bid packet preparation and DOB filing preparation, drawing review and revisions, construction administration, material/ furniture/ fixture/ equipment selection, space planning, and generating 3D models and renderings for prototypical and custom design projects. Through this position, I developed a high level of verbal and written interaction with clients, landlords, DOB officials, general contractors, engineers, expeditors and vendors.

Most notable projects included The Perch Rooftop Restaurant overlooking the historic Biltmore Hotel, as well as the vibrant Pershing Square, Shopping Mall developments, and private medical offices.

Responsibilities as a designer and drafter, working under the direction of the principal architect, included the planning and execution of various photographic exhibits for the International Center for Photography in association with the graphic design firm MGMT Design.

Most notable projects included a collaboration with Chris McVoy, a Senior Project Architect for the renowned design firm Steven Holl Architects, for the design of his private high end custom single-family residence in the Fort Greene area of Brooklyn.
