Art performance center project site is located in an old locale, Lalezar, which it has old walls. This place had been one of the most famous streets of Tehran. Artists usually used this street to communicate with each other but, nowadays the street has changed to the center of chandelier market. I designed two different cubes which connected to each other by a transparent volume. I designed these cubes to find a way for encouraging people to use this place. Smaller cube is the entertainment part of the building which include the shop store and coffee shop, and the bigger cube include main spaces such as cinema and theater. So, people who don’t want to use the bigger cube can use the building, too.

Also, I decided to keep the old walls and use them as the facade. I designed a main corridor which the old wall is one of its side. All the visitors should pass this corridor to arrive to the theater and cinema. This corridor is also a place for periodic exhibitions. So, I kept the old wall and used it such as a fixed part of the museum. There is two entrances between the windows in the old wall, too. I designed the circulation how to use the entrances as new entrances to lessen damage to the wall.
