Custom home located in the foothills of Colorado Springs.  Because of problematic soils and the need for single-level living, the design is a series of four (4) rectangular boxes raised off the ground on a series of concrete caissons.  The "V-wing" roofs hide the future installation of a photovoltaic energy system, creating a home that acts as a mini-power plant for the utility grid.
