QWiC Rail Transit

The 1,150 kilometer Quebec-Windsor Corridor is the most densely populated and heavily industrialized region of Canada. With over 18 million people, the corridor contains just over 50 percent of Canada’s population, as well as three of the four largest metropolitan areas in the country. The intention of this urban project is to analyze the existing corridor and the potential effects that high speed rail transit might have within it - from the scale of the entire corridor, down to the scale of a single stop along the proposed line. What scenarios might arise as a prediction of the effect of speed on this growing Canadian megaregion?
