Resting zone Biela Púť, Jasná ski resort, 2012

Project was made for famous ski resort Jasná in Low Tatras, Slovakia. The aim was to change the look of an artificial lake collecting water for winter snowing in ski resort in time, when there is not enough of natural snow for skiing. The lake is situated in the bussiest centre of the resort with hotels, parking places, information spots, bars and cableway stations around. Lake was remade from unaesthetic barrier to attractive resting zone that fits naturaly to this highelevated environment. It offers a nice view on the lake from different types of moles, small romantic boats, chillout zone with cosy outside sitting and climbing wall, resting spots and circuit pathway for pedestrians, that can be used during summer but also winter season.

Project is already realized, but unfortunately, it didnt join the project. As a result the area dont satisfy needs that were considered in the proposal. Lake is looking even more artificial and it reminds of ,hedge for sheep´.
