The Knowlton School welcomed Kiel Moe, Practicing architect and Associate Professor of Architecture & Energy in the Department of Architecture at Harvard University Graduate School of Design, to give a public lecture at the school.

Moe's teaching, practice and research all focus on energy: particularly on an agenda for design that is ecologically and architecturally driven. Moe sees buildings as representations of large-scale energy systems and is interested in how thermal aspects of buildings that are often overlooked can have larger impacts on the architecture. Much of his lecture centered around these principles. Moe shared current work of his own as well as student work from his core design studios, seminars and additional lectures.
