Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized architecture and engineering firm, is experiencing sustained growth in our architecture practice. We are seeking to fill a full-time position for an architectural intern in our Portland, Oregon office. Mead & Hunt supports our architectural interns through their professional development including IDP and license support, a collaborative studio environment, and opportunities to work in diverse roles on a broad range of projects.

Responsibilities of this position include providing design input into public, commercial, federal and industrial projects; assisting with the preparation of construction drawings and specifications; and producing studies, graphics and reports. Some travel will be required.

The successful candidate must have Bachelor of architecture (5 year) degree (or higher) from an accredited school or college OR a bachelor’s degree in architecture and a master’s degree in architecture from an accredited school or college.

The ideal candidate will have any/all of the following: experience producing construction drawings with AutoCAD and/or Revit; design and graphic presentation skills; construction administration experience; ability to develop design concepts into clear, well organized construction documents; familiarity with design software such as Sketch-up, Photoshop, 3D Max or similar software. LEED certification is a plus.
