The San Francisco Studio of Gould Evans is seeking a full time Marketing Associate to work as part of a collaborative design studio. This is a great opportunity for a creative communicator with a background in graphic design. 

Gould Evans is a design and planning firm whose principals and associates are united around a common vision: to create spaces with positive and measurable outcomes, impacting our clients’ lives every day. We believe in partnership, the expression of individual talents brought together through a shared challenge. Our portfolio is diverse, encompassing higher education projects, civic buildings, cultural institutions, athletics facilities, workplaces, living spaces, environmental branding and urban planning. We currently have more than 110 associates across our Phoenix, San Francisco, Kansas City, Lawrence, New Orleans and Tampa studios.

Primary responsibilities of the Marketing and Communications Coordinator position include:

  • coordination and graphic layout of proposals
  • assisting with interview presentations and preparation
  • creation of marketing collateral
  • proactive tracking of leads
  • some assistance with local public relations campaigns (graphic email blast and press release creation, event coordination, media outreach).

Other responsibilities include conducting market sector research, maintaining Deltek Vision database and administrative tasks. This is a full time position that includes paid time off and benefits. 

We’re seeking candidates with:

  • Strong graphic communications and writing/proofreading skills;
  • Knowledge of and passion for architecture and design;
  • High energy level, exceptional organizational skills and a keen eye for detail;
  • A collaborative spirit and proactive attitude;
  • Ability to adapt to new opportunities and responsibilities;
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines;
  • Proficiency in Adobe suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat) and Microsoft Office (Powerpoint, Outlook, Excel). Extra credit for photography skills, or Deltek Vision;
  • 2-3 years professional working experience, preferably within the AEC industry.
