In the context of the competition task we have tried to find a way of solving Roma problems – the living conditions in shantytown in the urban area of Ljubljana, Slovenia. Roma’s living space has constantly been changing and never finalized. The main idea was the flexibility of the housing typology; this concept was also used while defining the façade. It is a reinterpretation of the existing composition, which reflects the cultural colorfulness of the Roma community and it is a sort of collage of different materials used.
