Jacob is a creative leader with more than a decade of collective experience in architecture, construction, property development, concert staging, theatrical design, and fine arts. 

He is grateful to be part of an inspiring and talented team of professionals at Kostow Greenwood Architects in Downtown Manhattan. 

When Jacob is not laying the tracks for a creative project, he can be found competing in triathlons, snowboarding, surfing, kayaking, and wandering the planet with his equally talented and ambitious partner.

It is Jacob’s continued charge to contribute to a world where our wildest dreams come alive through vision, collaboration, and perseverance.

Jacob has been a part of the team at Kostow Greenwood Architects since the Summer of 2013. He performs Project Management, Construction Administration, Architectural & Interior Design roles for clients including: SiriusXM Satellite Radio, Manhattan Neighborhood Network, Time Warner, Villanova University, and Brooklyn Tabernacle.

Since 1987, Kostow Greenwood Architects has completed hundreds of projects for public and private clients including broadcast facilities, academic buildings, performing art centers, offices, preservation of historic structures, and custom residential projects.

Jun 2013 - current

Seidel + Associates, Inc., San Antonio, TX, US, Designer/ Intern Architect

-Assisted Donald Seidel, R.A. in all facets of a dynamic commercial and residential architecture practice.
-Active design partner in the 2014 San Antonio Zootennial Restaurant project.
-Participated in all project phases including: weekly client meetings, conceptual & preliminary design, design development, interior design, finish selections, construction documents, permitting, and RFIs.

Blufish Residential Planning and Design Studio, Austin, TX, US, Project Manager (CDs & Marketing Documents)

-Managed construction documents for Morrison Homes, Armadillo Homes, and several custom homebuilders.
-Acted as the point of contact for all plan portfolio changes and revisions for Morisson Homes.
-Directly assisted the principal in all facets of the design process through construction administration. Participated in design charettes and client meetings.

Coordinated bidding, design, and project management for residential remodel projects.

-Directly assisted the Lead Carpenter in the construction of a single-family residence, custom hardwood floor installations, and commercial tenant finish-outs.

University of Texas at Austin, Austin, TX, US, Solar Decathlon 2005 Team Member

-Voluntarily participated for over a year in a Graduate Student team that built a prototype solar-powered modular house in Austin, TX.
-Was chosen to be part of the team to travel to Washington, D.C. and reassemble the house on the National Mall for international competition.
-Reassembled the house on the National Mall in for international competition.

-Co-founded a real estate management company to control the acquisition, renovation, and leasing of 17 multi- family properties.
-Managed all renovation projects.
-Coordinated contractor hiring and scheduling. -Verified punch list completion.
