Subterranean Architecture

S.Kirby

Looking for some inspiration and precedents in the area of underground, or partially underground buildings. Does anyone know of any good buildings or even architects that specialise in this area. Interested in how the buildings deal with being underground, how they manage light and ventilation along with interesting reasons for being underground.

Make Architects did a house a couple years back which I really like, they even tried to bring in an Eco focus http://inthralld.com/2012/06/underground-bolton-eco-house-in-england-by-make-architects
