So a lot of the stuff I read on here as well as on other Architecturally focused sites seem to state that if you're going to be an architect in the U.S.A., you're probably going to be making horrible money, and that it isn't going to get better for a while. The general consensus seems to be to get out of the field and find something else.
I'm curious if this is the same in Canada, or if the job outlook in the field is considered better?

well.. i know a few architects who've moved their practice to Toronto while previously based in cities like NYC, LA
