BluEntCAD

Hi all, a quick question is on my mind. Is BIM helpful for structural engineers? Please help me to understand.

nope, they do all the important stuff by sketching it out by hand on graph paper.

very helpful - having worked at a structural engineering firm - doing seismic retrofits in SF, its's a lot easier than acad and we could see how everything coordinated with the architectural esp on a an old victorian house which no longer had any parallel walls- then do finite element analysis - from the architectural side, its the only way to go - we link in the S.E. BIM model to coordinate -
