Quantity Surveying conversion course

Non-ASD Jequitarchitectur

I just graduated with a BA in Architecture, but I am not happy with working as an architect and I know it will take 3-4 years more before I get my licence. Also, I didn't enjoy architecture school as much due to the conceptual rather than technical approach towards building design.

I was looking into a way to practise quantity surveying instead. I found this 1 year Msc conversion course at Heriot Watt and wanted to ask if anyone has any experience with a similar course.

I also found a similar course at Liverpool John Moores university.

Both courses are RICS accredited but I don't know how well they prepare you for practising QS. Would you recommend converting to QS and which course of the two would you choose and why?

RICS doesn't mean shit imo. It's not like architecture where its a protected title and you need to be registered.
