Send a teaser or a full portfolio?

yoel371

Hello Archinect,

So i'm getting ready to send out job applications to various firms and want to know whether its better to send a teaser or a full portfolio along with resume and cover letter.

Interviewees: What have you done and why?

Interviewers: What do you prefer and why?

Teaser

If they want more they will ask.  You want them to see your best and ask you to come in.

An example of a working drawing you did in an office or internship. A studio project that is bad ass with a pic of the model, rendering, and drawing.

Teaser.

Make sure the teaser is well crafted as a teaser though.

I hate this word, "teaser..." Its as if your work is sooo sexy it teases... No one is that special... Trust me.

^ yeah me too... all we need is architects to start doing private shows in the wood shop where they take photos of their models screwed together... Architects are the biggest pimps haha (I can go on, but I'll refrain)

One of my professors always referred to photos of models as "sexy photos."
