This might seem like a silly question regarding letters of recommendation for M. Arch programs... Some school require 3 referees, and one of my profs. never got back to me to say if he'd write one or not so I asked another one in the meantime, but now he finally said yes. Is it bad if you have more?

Yes, you will never get into school with your uppity overachieving demeanor.
3-4 are fine. Dont over do it with like 6-7.
