Private Residence #10

This project re-thinks an existing closed off kitchen by removing partition walls and opening the space to the living & dining rooms. The new layout takes advantage of the open L-shaped design with a long bank of cabinets along the outer wall, a butler's pantry, and peninsula/bar between the kitchen and dining room. The existing wood flooring was extended through the kitchen to the dining room to tie the spaces together into a single, flowing composition.
