The last windmill in Dorozsma/Bakery and bakery museum

The last windmill in Dorozsma/Bakery and bakery museum

My thesis is bound to the windmill of Kiskundorozsma. It was 23 windmills in the village in the 1800s, but now this is the only one which left. Unfortunately, this windmill is also passed by over the years therefore it was collapsed in 1970. The locals insisted their last windmill and finally in 1971 started to rebuilding the windmill. The mill is still working but it is only used as a museum. I feel more opportunities about the mill than just being a museum, so I  planned to a bakery  and a bakery museum where the bread made by  the old traditional methods. However, the site also involves a lot of other options. The area used to hold events, but have not had any reception building. Therefore, I wanted to design a building, which performs many functions yet remains compact and simple because the focus should remain still on the mill and not the building. Visitors can learn about the story of the mill, the types of hungarian windmill, their evolutionary development, the millers life, and you can prepare your own bread. However, the building is also able to serviced out bread festivals, holidays or other events in the village .
