As mentioned last week, the New Norris House will be auction in the coming month.

This process will be a sealed bid auction and is being overseen by the State of Tennessee Real Estate Asset Management (as a State owned property built by the University's College of Architecture and Design).

The flyer below indicates the most basic information about the sale and the home itself, but more detailed information can be found here at the state's website

We will be providing further information in the coming month (as well as hosting an open house on April the 12th), but are excited to begin the process and transfer this award winning home to a private owner.

Please feel free to contact us with questions about the process or home! Or visit our website at www.thenewnorrihouse.com

About this Blog

The New Norris House is a design/build effort from the University of Tennessee's College of Architecture and Design. Began in 2009, the home was designed and built by UT students in collaboration with Clayton Homes. The built project is now complete and the final phase of the project has begun. A team of 4 people (2 living in the home, and 2 graduate researchers) will rigorously document the experience via qualitative assessments and quantitative measurements, posting results to this blog.
