BCA Architects reused 84 percent of the existing building shell and structure of the former Eagle Body Manufacturing building that it transformed into its new office, adding 4,000 square feet of structural upgrades, facade improvement, and building system upgrades to accommodate the office use.

Additional Credits: On Tuesday, September 20, BCA Architects new San Jose headquarters was named the 2011 Green Project of the Year.
BCA was recognized by the Silicon Valley/San Jose Business Journal for the repurposing, energy-efficient, and sustainable design, which incorporated old timber trusses, skylights, and other historic finds from the original building.
