About

I am a problem-solving innovator with over 25 years of experience in all aspects of the architectural profession.

One of my greatest attributes has been my ability to quickly move among different project types, learning the nuances of each, and then developing creative and client pleasing solutions.  I have been involved in a broad spectrum of projects including international work.  My history gives me unique insights on which to draw upon.

Generally my involvement spans through the entire life of the project, including my role as being the principal client interface. My contributions have been from initial marketing, pre-design including master-planning, urban design, site selection, and programming through contract negotiation.  My responsibilities through contract documentation phase have been design, presentation, budget and schedule analysis, team management and coordination, and point of contact. All of my projects have involved a wide variety of project delivery methods and schedule challenges.  I am known for designing in 3 dimensions using various methods to effectively convey important spatial concepts and Ideas.

My strengths are in the design and management of both large and technically sophisticated projects as well as smaller projects needing quick response. The hallmark of all of my projects has been a focus on the client’s goals and objectives as well as the user’s needs.  All of my projects have resulted in high levels of satisfaction by clients, users and the community at large.  Several of these projects have been awarded national awards including the prestigious Chicago Athenaeum American Architecture Award, and the ULI Development of Excellence Award.
