British American Tobacco

The interior project of BAT Italian’s headquarter in Rome has been ultimated in 2005. The project coincided with a complete reorganization of the company, given by the fusion of Ente Tabacchi Italiano and British American Tobacco.
The principal challenges, regarded the fusion of two companies with totally contrasting images, as well as work space models. The contemporary building in which the offices are located extents on an area of 10.000 sqm on five different floors.
The resulting environment is characterized by a rich blend of closed and open offices . Typologies as well as all of the amenities under headquarters projects involve: dining facilities, meeting & conferencing, spaces, Break-out, lounge areas, fixed & flexible office models. It was creating a total independent environment from the surroundings, integrating in the building lots of facilities and such a big number of offices , due to the allocation of different functions with high density of working people.
The project has been also integrated with corporate and communications elements that become an important part of it, using vivid colors to give a fresh and contemporary atmosphere overall.
The external areas have been reorganized to aloud people to best benefit form Rome’s agreeable weather.
