ZROBIM architects created a unique loft-style apartment with its own second floor. The main task in developing this project was to create a harmonious combination of industrial design and modern interior solutions. The apartment of 120 m2 is located on the top floor of a premium building in Minsk.
The designers of ZROBIM architects cleverly used the five-meter space of the main hall, dividing it into two levels, and so increasing the total area. There were also two bathrooms at each level.
The client of the apartment was a young man with an active lifestyle. The main desire was to create an interior that would be transformable in the future from a bachelor apartment into a space for comfortable family life.

The dominant feature of the interior is a large panoramic window, five meters high, with a view of the industrial area. The industrial theme flows seamlessly into the design of the apartment. Here are all the attributes of modern loft: exposed wiring, exposed concrete on the ceiling, brick on the walls, I-beams, glass blocks and wooden slab. The lighting in the apartment is divided evenly into zones with their own lighting scenarios.
The metal elements of the structures were complemented by the rough textures of brick and concrete and diluted with warm shades of natural wood.
One of the apartment's highlights is the custom five-meter cassette door to the guest room. The white color and contrasting minimalist handle visually make the space even higher. The white color and large minimalist handle visually add to the volume of the space. And the modern coffered mechanism allows the door to open and close smoothly. In the living room area, the accent element is a bright emerald green sofa, which, together with the warm brickwork, creates an interesting color combination.
As such there is no dining table in the apartment, as the dynamic lifestyle of the young man involves frequent trips and meals away from home. Therefore, the solution was to create a kitchen island, which leaves the space as open as possible and performs two functions at once. On the one hand it is used as a work surface for cooking, on the other - as a bar counter.
It is also worth noting the room at the entrance to the apartment. Now the customer uses this space as an office. However, the designers originally allocated this room as a guest bedroom. In the future it can be converted into a children's room.
The second level is the client's bedroom. The two-meter high ceiling and the layout create a loft-like atmosphere. The general color palette of this space is monochrome, it is complemented by warm wood elements.
The designers of ZROBIM architects kept the texture of the concrete and all the wiring goes in the open way in a plaid braid of wires, approaching each light fixture and forming a beautiful graphic pattern on the ceiling. Worth noting is a design solution that visually frees up space: storage cabinets with glass transparent doors and backlighting. From the second floor of the bedroom there is a view of the city outside the window.

The designers of ZROBIM architects managed to create a comfortable two-level apartment space, taking into account all the wishes of the customer. The metal elements of the structures were complemented with rough textures of brick and concrete and diluted with warm shades of natural wood.
