The scheme involved the internal remodelling and addition of a contemporary rear extension to a semi-detached two-storey house in a conservation area. 

A contemporary extension has been added to the rear of the house extending into the side return at ground floor level. This was designed to create a more generous living space for the family. 

At the first floor the rear projection was also extended in line with the neighbouring property creating a more generous rear bedroom and a family bathroom.  

These changes were sympathetic to the architecture of the surrounding area and extended the life of the house allowing the family to continue to live there.
