Yuanpei Zhuang is an architecture designer with a Botany background who is currently based in Berkeley, California. His interest in architecture is rooted in the social impact, methodology, and the unexpected relationships formed in the built environment.
He holds a Master of Architecture from the University of California, Berkeley, a Bachelor of Environmental Design from Dalhousie University in Canada and a Science Degree from China. He also had experiences at teaching, journalism, patent, data visualization and UX Research + Design.
Before He went to UC Berkeley, he worked at Yung Ho Chang Studio, and had diverse experience practice at Gensler(San Francisco), Xuk(Shanghai) and Kengo Kuma Architect & Associates(Shanghai).
