A new type of park amusement and experience is currently under construction in Battery Park, NYC. Sea Glass  is based on a sea life theme that links the project with its location at the original site of the New York Aquarium. The innovative structure features state-of-the-art technology including "smart" glass, which switches from transparent to a dark blue tint. Scenes of undersea life will be projected on the nautilus-shaped structure, creating an entirely new experience for the park visitors. The figures will be translucent fiberglass molded into dolphins, turtles, clownfish, and other marine life and will move in a unique multi-point action along with commissioned works of music and media.
