The designing of Dawson Place was inspired by, and built to accommodate, the client’s eclectic collection of kelim rugs, sculpture and paintings. Continuous teak benches display sculpture, while teak wall panels are used to hang paintings. A new, centrally placed, stair way restores the original grand proportions of the house, and subtly links the interconnecting rooms.
