The facility was conceived as a focal point between industry and education.  The Center operations as a quck training center for job skills needed to support industry or as a business incubator. 

The 23,000 square foot facility features an expressed structural frame.  The planning is based on a extremely flexible configuration which allos use of any of the labs or lecture areas at any time without the remainder of the building being occupied.
