The interiors of this French neoclassical house, built in the 1920’s outside of Washington DC overlooking the Potomac River, were completely renovated. The work included restoration of the original movie theater and the sweeping staircase as well as the addition of a new back staircase, while a new underground parking and service structure was built below the new gravel arrival court.
The exterior facades of the house, protected by local historic codes, were restored and the grounds re-landscaped. Two new outdoor pavilions were constructed on the river side terrace for entertaining.
