Seattle, WA
TIME Apartments will be a 7-story multi-family residence with 289 apartments in the heart of SeaTac’s Angle Lake neighborhood. The site is bordered by International Boulevard to the east and the elevated Angle Lake Light rail station to the west. It is also a few blocks south of SeaTac International Airport. In response to these unique conditions, the building will wrap the edges of the site to create an urban, walkable environment on the street edge, and a large interior courtyard sheltered from the site’s noisy surroundings.
The building’s massing emphasizes the corners of the site by stepping back in plan and height in the center of the east and west facades. This massing strategy, combined with a contrasting material selection, allows for differentiated expression at the building entries and creates two rooftop amenity spaces with sweeping views of Mount Rainier and the Olympic and Cascade mountains.
Completion estimated spring 2023.
