Numerous Sam Fox School faculty and alumni are recipients of 2021 AIA St. Louis Design Awards, which were announced during a ceremony on November 17.
The Design Awards program was founded with the mission of recognizing outstanding achievements in all areas of design and construction in the St. Louis region while inspiring professionals to even better work in the future.
The Design Awards Jury featured chair Paul Mankins, FAIA, LEED AP, of Substance Architecture; Steve Dumez, FAIA, of Eskew Dumez Ripple; and Matthew Kreilich, FAIA, LEED AP, of Snow Kreilich Architects. The Craftsmanship Jury featured chair Brian Grant of Grant Contracting Company, Larry Vallenza of M+H Architects, and Dan Green of ISC Contracting.
Lecturer Allison Méndez (MArch12), AIA, of CannonDesign and Jonathan Wirth, AIA, of HOK are co-chairs of the AIA St. Louis Design Awards Committee.
